Fitting aftermarket phone kit - bluetooth

I'm intending fitting an aftermarket phone kit.

I think I have located the mute pin on the headunit (on the secondary audio input connector, Pin 10?) however does anyone know if there are any audio input pins for when mute is active, to save me fitting another speaker.

I have the external amplified system.

Thanks

I Can't help you as the steering wheel phone switches and Bluetooth etc were standard fit, but if you go to the LR site you should be able to find parts and wiring diagram on there which may assist you. Unless someone has already done an after Fit? John

Nokia ck-7w

The problem is the RRS has an external amplifier therefore the standard mute kits arn't a lot of use.

Blimey! I've got one of those I removed from my 2003 Merc!

ive not got the wiring diagram from the wiring kits I've used, but it is possible. If I get a chanc later, mill have another look at the pinouts.
If you get bored, I think Bobby or someone put the audio pinouts posted up on here as well. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Whoa, I'm interested in this CK7-W kit schematics as well - as long, as it works with stock wheel controls. It's dirt cheap and still some old-school quality stuff.
Found this: http://www.carcommunications.co.uk/car-acc...-bury-lead Regards etc.,

The CK-7W won't work with stock wheel controls as standard.

I was considering removing the steering wheel button illumination function, and using that wire so a button could control the nokia system.

I doubt the kit you link to would work.

I happened to have a jag mute kit to hand and plugged it in. All it did was provide power for the phone kit.

Well to answer my own question.

On the smaller connector.

Pin

10 Mute
3 Audio In +
5 Audio In -

Did this today. Bolted it and wired to the head unit. Laughing

Some of you may think its a bodge.

I don't use the phone much in the car so it will be sufficient for me. (with parts I had)

You answer the phone by pressing the phone button on the head unit. Razz
Although implementing this bit isn't really a diy task.
