United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Sumatra Black
Looking For Some Advice On 2 Models I Have Seen.

I have seen a couple of motors at a dealer in the Sheffield/ Wakefield areas.

First one is a 2010 RR Sport 3.0 TDV8 in metallic Rimini Red, 36250 miles, cream leather but not many after market extras £25500
Second one is 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue in White, 48000, black leather throughout including dash, few extras including rear view camera, 22 inch Overfinch wheels and some Overfinch styling though not sure exactly what £30000

Are these good figures from a RR dealer? 1 year warranty but possibly 2 if its a deal breaker?

Thanks in advance

Correction

it is a 3.0 TDV6!

Also if you buy from a Land Rover dealer it is not always standard to get a 2 year warranty. It can be haggled depending on whether its a deal breaker. I thought the same and also queried it

Ahhhh

2 year unlimited mileage Land Rover Approved Warranty

Designed specifically for Land Rovers less than five years old and with less than 100,000 miles at the time of purchase. Work is only ever undertaken by Land Rover Trained Technicians using Genuine Parts, approved tools and diagnostic equipment. Nothing less.

There are no limits to the number of claims that can be made, up to the vehicle purchase price, and the Warranty covers you for two years with no mileage restrictions. This is only available through an authorised Land Rover Retailer

Cars I looked at are 2010 so will not apply in my case so haggling away to get it at 2 years if I buy

The main question is are these 2 models good with regards to pricing, mileage, specs??????

Buying from a Land Rover dealer you will pay a premium (you are probably aware of that anyway) as they "filter" less desirable cars to auctions and keep the best for their forecourt. Do you have any links to the dealership website / approved used list as it is a lot easier to say "good" or "less good" without some history and photos. Whichever one you buy will depend on what you want, the Vogue is a very nice luxury car with a huge boot and is almost unstoppable off-road, Sport is more handling orientated (read slightly firmer suspension and rolls less in "spirited" driving), has a smaller boot and is not quite as large but is still excellent off-road. I would suggest that you test drive both as both are great cars but for different reasons. The 4.4V8 in the FFRR was a development of the 3.6 to get around emissions rules changes, to see what issues there are with the 4.4 you really need to go to our sister forum FullFatRR.com as the engine has only recently come to RRS in the post 2013 RRS2/ L494 cars and it isn't that common an option in the UK in RRS as the present version of the 3.0 SDv6 is really a very good engine producing almost as much power and torque as the 4.4 in the L322 version. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

All used cars from an official main dealer will have 2 year warranty. As suggested, post the links to the 2 cars at the main dealers you are considering...... Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Both look nice examples, interesting that a dealer in Wakefield is selling cars first registered in Scotland......... I have been told by 2 dealers in London that they leap at Scottish registered cars as they tend to have fewer body panel dings than those from the Sarf of England.
Would also suggest that you take a look at the linked to 5.0lt V8 S/C from the link on the Sport link http://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/5795412...and-shift/
If you aren't using the car as your everyday transport or to cover vast distances the S/C is a good proposition too, even with so many miles racked up in a shorter time - to have racked them up it has led a motorway cruising life and must have been pretty reliable too! Depends on whether or not you like Black cars.

Both the 3.0 RRS and 4.4 FFRR the look decent honest cars, although the L322 FFRR 4.4 is a modified car with an Overfinch full exterior Stage 1 upgrade - this could have a big bearing on insurance prices being a modified car, check that it hasn't also been chipped. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Not sure about preferring Scottish cars over southern ones. I prefer the other way. Ding and scrapes u can see, 6 months of salty roads causes damage you can't always see. I've only bought a couple local for that reason. 2015 RRS AB SDV6, Fuji White, Ivory
