Buying from a Land Rover dealer you will pay a premium (you are probably aware of that anyway) as they "filter" less desirable cars to auctions and keep the best for their forecourt. Do you have any links to the dealership website / approved used list as it is a lot easier to say "good" or "less good" without some history and photos. Whichever one you buy will depend on what you want, the Vogue is a very nice luxury car with a huge boot and is almost unstoppable off-road, Sport is more handling orientated (read slightly firmer suspension and rolls less in "spirited" driving), has a smaller boot and is not quite as large but is still excellent off-road. I would suggest that you test drive both as both are great cars but for different reasons. The 4.4V8 in the FFRR was a development of the 3.6 to get around emissions rules changes, to see what issues there are with the 4.4 you really need to go to our sister forum FullFatRR.com as the engine has only recently come to RRS in the post 2013 RRS2/ L494 cars and it isn't that common an option in the UK in RRS as the present version of the 3.0 SDv6 is really a very good engine producing almost as much power and torque as the 4.4 in the L322 version. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

All used cars from an official main dealer will have 2 year warranty. As suggested, post the links to the 2 cars at the main dealers you are considering...... Both look nice examples, interesting that a dealer in Wakefield is selling cars first registered in Scotland......... I have been told by 2 dealers in London that they leap at Scottish registered cars as they tend to have fewer body panel dings than those from the Sarf of England.

Not sure about preferring Scottish cars over southern ones. I prefer the other way. Ding and scrapes u can see, 6 months of salty roads causes damage you can't always see. I've only bought a couple local for that reason. 2015 RRS AB SDV6, Fuji White, Ivory
