Come and join us guys. I have arranged several events now and the only damage was a burst tyre so far, due to a little excess speed.

BN, you are a braver man than me! I had a TD6 RaRo before the Sport and I took that off into the forests when it was 3 weeks old, and while I didn't sustain any body damage I spent the whole of the summer polishing out scratches inflicted by brambles and gorse. The Sport has been off roaded gently where there were no thorny bushes and all I sustained was a scuffed alloy....... I have my Defender as my offroad toy, it is 10 years old and for the last 4 years has only been onroad to get to the offroad events! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yep, sounds and looks like you had a great time, Tim! And how unusual to see blue sky over in the west of Scotland! As usual though, some fantastic scenery! Thanks for the photos!

Tim, lived in 110's, 90's and 130's all my life wanted a little comfort and cosseting, so that was the reason for the D3. If it gets damaged, so what I have enjoyed the pleasure of it. The RRS is a little wider and would certainly limit where we went. I am working on some new routes that are more picturesque and no damage if any of you guys are interested. By the way this is mine after Wales and then after an quick wash and brush up The tyres did help a bit, but most guys were on road tyres, I was on Cooper STT's with 80/20. That is 80% off road, you may be able to see the aggressive tread. Is anyone interested in a trip to Croatia with me and a few D3 guys in 2006. It is all proffessionally escorted and good fun. |
