United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Lumpy on start-up

RRS MY 2013 SDV6 22k on the clock
On start-up only first thing in the morning runs very lumpy very briefly for about 5 seconds as if its not running on all cylinders? I've not noticed this before so it must only have started to happen? Runs smooth as a whistle the rest of the time no lights showing up? Warranty runs out on 20th of this month Is it something anybody else has had? Dose it need to go back the the stealer in a hurry?? Cheers Laurence.

If it's just with the cold weather and first thing I would think glow plugs are playing up. The sooner they are checked/changed the better. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Yes will drop it in as it's still under warranty so the fault is registered with them before the warranty ends Thumbs Up Cheers Laurence.

SDV6 LUMPY HELP

if i start the car from cold all is fine until...

once the car has warmed up say after 10 mins it starts to blip and its bad because the blip / miss fire moves the engine mounts.

stood at the front listening...the nearside sounds noticeably more dull / hollow/ thud like... rather than a nice quiet tickicky like the offside.

blue smoke out the back is constant

no codes,

theirs not much i haven't checked...ANY IDEAS WELCOME CHEERS

Mine is the same but only when it's a little bit colder in the morning and FBH fires itself up. Only lasts 2-3 seconds and just feels like it's running uneven then clears.
It's done this Ever since I bought it 2.5 years ago. Spoke to my independent and was told they all do it when it a bit colder in the morning and nothing to worry about. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior

Don’t disregard a dodgy injector. If you can get codes read or live values taken, especially with smokey start up.

Lumpy running/injector problem, begs the question, what impact does this have on snapped cranks Whistle Question In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

This is what Kev (knwatkins) said to me after his recent failure. Injectors may have played a part.....
