Sat Nav not displaying correctly?

Hi All,

I wondered if any of you have ever had this issue.....

When I input my destination and select calculate it brings the route up and shows the distance and time etc....but when I hit start the distance and time stay but the map goes into a random location so it doesnt actually show the route?

For example, I was on the m4 this morning but on the SatNav it was showing I was going through fields.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Paul

Maybe the antenna is faulty. I read this before in a post. Have you tried ejecting your Satnav CD first.

I think it's under the passenger front seat.

Press the left one (marked with a compass rose symbol) of the two hardware buttons located just in front of the touchscreen and the screen changes to display a choice of 'on-road' or 'off-road' navigation. Choose 'on-road' and you're done.

One thought that occurred: - if the screen is showing your position as in a field when you are actually on a road - I've seen that when using a very out of date DVD which doesn't have the most recently built roads on it's map. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
