Thanks SPX. Sounds like he broke too many rules. Too bad I missed all those comments as I enjoy that sort of stuff ... as long as I am not at the receiving end Laughing

Btw what's wrong with driving a Focus and wanting a Sport (if he was real) Confused ? I owned an Astra for over 7.5 years before moving to my first RRS less than 4 years ago. Due to different priorities at the time I resisted changing the car and ended up skipping the "luxury/premium mid-sized car phase" and going straight to SUV. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

His Focus was, allegedly, an RS. An appreciating asset too, unlike RRSs which all lose £1000 a month. Allegedly.

I still think he was someone from another forum who just didn't like the RRS. Maybe a Deafener driver that had been rescued by a RRS and wasn't happy about it... Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Java Black

Nothing at all wrong with a Focus, I've run a couple in the past as grafters putting a fair few miles on them, good cars.

What I wouldn't do is go on a model specific forum and tell members how much their cars are depreciating each month and saying I've seen early RRS1's for £5k and when challenged on it say that they're accident damaged and some other waffle. Then also say that I'm going to wait to buy a Sport, any Sport, because they'll be cheaper in six months because of depreciation (and he implied the RRS was the only vehicle to do so!)

He was one of three things:

1. A troll.

2. A very stupid troll.

3. A Walter Mitty type.

Hilarious approach. Not that it matters in this case of trolling, from what I have seen, RRSs depreciate far slower than some other premium marques in percentage terms.

I think he shouldn't have been banned though. Humorous characters are rare. But don't care much either way. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

^^^^ You obviously didn't read all his posts Fkarim with you being off the radar for a while. We had to delete quite a few of them, prior to him being sent home.

As hilarious and entertaining as it all was, it'll be easier to get on with helping others without him around. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Caused me to lose so much sleep worrying about how much my RRS was deprecating each day and if I were to keep it for another 2yrs I might even have to pay someone thousands of pounds to take it off my hands. Big Cry

TT....now there is a blast from the past.

I can remember his name but there was a lad on here who had seen it, done it, and had the T shirt to prove it! If you had 22" wheels he had managed to fit 26" wheels, and stuff like that.

Anyway, the true 'first guy on the balcony' died nearly 5 years ago now Sad
