Is it me you're calling Carlos? Is this some internet thing? I think you'll find my advice is priceless. Ok I get it, Carlos or car loss because of the loss of money on cars, very clever. Last edited by 4X4BYFAR on Sun Feb 21 2016 12:18pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Here's my experience - Autotrader is a waste of time I've had some success with eBay though I've sold LRs privately up to 2010 but since then it's been impossible but that could be due to higher value of my vehicles. This hasn't stopped dealer selling them on for a profit though Buyers now prefer new or LR approved used and finance Scammers appear to have scared private buyers away Private buyers want a bargain and expect you to give it away - they're not interested in a fair price Glwts but it's tough out there Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW Still hoping for a S2 one day! |

I don't know how it is for you guys across the pond but in NA Land Rovers have a terrible reputation and as such depreciate quickly. When mine rolled out of the factory in 2009 as a 2010 it was worth well over $100,000.00. Fast forward to 2014 when I bought it and we settled at 45k. The car lost over 50% of its value over 5 years, INCREDIBLE.

I think he's a wanna be owner without the cash. He's come up with a clever scheme to talk the value of RRS down to his price range... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I think both RRS1 and RRS2 are going to suffer a steep drop in the value of used ones.............
