Drivers side window doesn't fully close

I have a problem, which started one frosty morning a couple of weeks back. I opened the window to check traffic as the side windows were still a little frosted. On opening the window was a little stuck, as i could here it breaking the seal so to speak. When i put the window up all seemed fine until i hit a dual carriageway, when i could hear wind noise about 50mph. Once i was parked up i noticed the window had stopped just short of fully closed. It wasn't noticeable when in the vehicle. Since then the gap has widened to about half a cm short of full closure. I have tried all the tips regarding resets and the like, but no joy.

Have you tried pressing & holding the 'down' button until it stops, then pressing the 'up' button & holding it until it stops? This may reset the extent the window travels up & down. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

You are spot on, thank you. However I tried all sorts with the buttons and didn't have any success. However it is now resolved and was a reset fix. I took it over to my local garage this afternoon and 2 mins later it was reset and all working fine, full closure. I must be ham fisted.
