bought our range rover sport hse new in march.
the vehicle has been back to the dealer 4 times
with a knocking comming from underneath the car.
over certain bumps and if steering wheel is turned from side to side
noise can clearly be heard
land rover uk told them it was from the dynamic anti roll bars
and would not be prepared to replace the system as the noise was a characteristic of the dynamic pack
yeah right!

can anyone help

Firstly Steve welcome. The dealer is talking rubbish I have no knocking. You might want to have a word with the service manager and direct him to this forum - I think name and shame tactics might come into play unless things are sorted quickly. I didn't have any knocking noise coming from under my RRS but the suspension did drop on one Side they sorted that out

yes i have done all of that to no avail
they had three vehicles on the ramp only mine made this noise
Land rover uk sent two technicle staff armed with gadgets and gismos
took the fuse out to the dynamic responce sysystem which stopped the noise.
they then went on to say the dynamic responce system is a floating valve and could be taken off the vehicle to cure it
what was the point in having in the first place

Tell them if they take it out then you want your 2.5k back as well see what they say then! RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

They should replace the parts through warranty - they have pinpointed the fault. This is not a characteristic of the RRS. As I said there are others more qualified than me that will point you in the right direction. You also might want to look at our sister site disco3.co.uk where the members are more technically aware! they said i would have to cough up 585.00 plus three hours labour
which Lancaster Reading said may or may not cure the problem
it is totally ruining my enjoyment of the vehicle
the dealer said their hands were tied by Landrover uk

Definately call Cust svc's - that s the only way I got results to my complaints - even then not as quick as I would have liked....
