....and the problem with the Hankooks is the 'w' rating. From reading other threads LR may give you warranty challenges if you put anything less than the recommeded 'y' rated tyres on. I was all on on the Hankooks until i discovered this minor problem....

I have read this too, however, I just checked the tyres on my car as when i bought it the LR dealer put 2 new tyres (Atturo AZ800) on it as the others were nearly due replacement - These are V rated so I wonder how that would work out on a warranty claim

Actually, come to think of it, I have had ARB bushes and Mass damper kits fitted under warranty with these fitted and no question asked. I wonder if it's right Shocked Wife's Car: BLACK RRS TDV8 HSE with all the bits Smile

I firmly beleive the issue i had was down to the dealer "Armstrong Massey of York" being a total set of tossers, they where just looking for a reason not to do it and Land Rover backed them up. Would not take my daughters bike there, very poor service.

Tyres

Unrelated to the original topic but I think the Armstrong Massey lot were first class..............tossers too

I couldn't believe how rubbish they were during our buying process, don't know why we stuck with them- or maybe it was because it was a one off- the car itself is ok

As for tyres on the sport- my 2010 model came with Kumho all round and I thought that it was a rubbish selection but I have to say the drive quality was spot on grip was great, off road was ok and they lasted 40k- can't beat that.
