I like the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season tyres that I have fitted to my RRS.

If you don't want a budget tyre then ask yourself what brands you have had in the past and see if that brand does your size

If I was doing just tarmac use with the occasional track then I'd go with the Verde All Season. Covers you for summer and winter road use and has enough off road ability for the odd greasy track e.g. towing in and out of a field. Is also the preferred tyre on new RRS/FFRR on sale these days. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I've also got Pirelli's but mine are the Scorpion Zero's,,I would NEVER fit budgets to a 4x4,,to be honest I would never fit budgets to anything,,they are cheap for a reason. Andy. Yes. Tyres are the only thing that maintains contact between the road and your 2.75 tonne vehicle. I never skimp on tyres and only ever fit well known, proven, brands. |
