Electric window sticking!

Hi all, I have an issue with the drivers window. When I press the switch to open it, it moves 1-2mm but no further; it moves back up to seal again ok too.

The other three windows are all fine and I have performed the window reset in accordance with the manual. Any ideas?

I'm guessing it's not the fuse as the window will move a little bit each way, and the relay is shared by all windows so this is probably fine too.

Thanks! Current: Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey

Aha! Fixed!!

Someone on the Facebook group came up trumps for me. It was the anti-pinch mechanism that needed resetting as the window must have been frozen shut when I last tried to open it. I disconnect the battery -ve terminal for 20 seconds then reconnected. Reset the windows and I now have 4 working windows!!

Thought I'd post the fix here in case anyone else gets it! Current: Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey

Close the windows with the switch, release the switch and then pull the switch up for about 3 seconds and release. You need to do this on all four windows, from the drivers door position. Current: Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey

That worked for me too today thanks. Noticed whilst driving that drivers door window went down 10mm and stopped - could raise it to fully closed though all through the drivers door switch. Reading this thread I remembered a couple of days ago I tried to lower the window but it was frozen so never thought much about it - the reset procedure fixed it straight away Very Happy
