Replacing cross over pipe on a TDV6

Hi I hope this post can help somebody...

Just 4 days before Christmas my 2007 2.7 HSE seemed to lose boost power and under labour was making a very chattery noise. I took it to my Indie nr Maidenhead He diagnosed the Manifold cross over pipe was goosed. I thought that was good news until i discovered the pipe is £460 and its meant to be Body Off to replace.Ouch

I bought the Pipe from Duckworth Dan £80 cheaper then every one else (Thanks Dan) And Fortunately my Indie (dan ) read on the Disco 3 Forum how to do it in situ. Well fair play he struggled but did it as a learning curve. Got the car back today and all is well. So anybody else who comes across this problem it isnt the end of the world, and if you live in Berks I have a very good Indie.

Pete.

I tried to replace in with the gearbox in situ. After 5 hours, I gave up and lifted the body. Start to finish was 6 hours Laughing
