Could one of these (or similar) be used to extract all gearbox oil and therefore allow a home based mega flush to be carried out?

There are a couple of good threads on the Disco Forum where folk have used a pump up weed killer spray to flush their gearboxes.

I used my automatic brake fluid bleeder http://www.gunson.co.uk/item.aspx?item=1818 to change my diff oils, just took the output hose off the end cap that goes on the brake fluid reservoir |

I have two of these pumps, a 7ltr and a 14 ltr one both Sealey, they are a god send when changing the oil, They get every last drop out if you place the pipe correctly, and like what has already been said they make no mess.
