United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Lux Java Black
iPhone 6 music connectivity to 2010 RRS

HI,
Can anyone help? I have a 2010 RRS and can't seem to find a way to connect my iPhone 6 to the entertainment system to play music. I have the iphone4/iPod cable for the car but this is the old style iPhone connection so need something with the new iPhone6 (or 5) lightnening cable connection. Or possibly some sort of bluetooth adaptor that I can connect to the iPhone 4 style cable i already have, so that I can then connect my iPhone 6 to it via bluetooth?
Any help is much appreciated, I can't be the only one out there with this problem but can't seem to find the solution!
Thanks,
Joel.

Make sure you purchase an Apple one, the cheap ebay ones do not work. 3.0 HSE RRS Stornaway (current)

what you need is a Cable Compatible with Apple 30-pin Female to Lightning 8-pin-male

buy genuine Apple - i have one and it works - can get the model number of the this genuine accessory if you need it.

I have the connector (with short lead to a lightening connector) as in your top picture, plugged into an official Land Rover iPod connectivity curly cable, and it charges my iPhone 6s whilst playing music etc no problemo. Same with wife's 5s. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Try to put the Lightning plug upside down or blow some air into the port on the iPhone. Sometimes there is no contact and this may help. Regards etc.,
