Remember, with a remap, you don't use all the extra power that much, only overtaking etc, however the drivability with a remap is another subject altogether. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

The SC does have the speed, but the torque of the TDV8 will put the gearbox under the most strain. It's the torque delivery of a badly remapped diesel that can be the real killer. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Yes, the 6HP26 has an input torque of 650Nm. The TDV8 has 640Nm as standard. No doubt the 'box has a factor of safety built in and can actually handle twice that but we'll never know.
