I've also dipped into a few BMW Forums but have to agree with BC. The one I found reasonable was BMWLand but the poor guy who set it up died and with him the Forum. A few from that site have set up another - BMWLanders - but there's not a lot of interesting stuff IMO; but early days.

I agree it could be interesting to have an 'other makes' section as the members on here are usually a pretty constructive bunch and it would be informative to see how JLR and their products stack up.

In a heated showroom. To cut a long story short, as with Muddy's dealer, they couldn't deliver on time, so I put delivery off till March as I have got alternative transport. Then the next news is, I get a call from the dealer to say it has arrived. But I am sticking to my delivery date as I don't need the car. At least they can be getting on with the dealer fit options between now and March which is about 20 hours work.

So I'm confident it will be ready for the 1st of March.

They've now got use of your car for two months in the showroom so all and sundry can sit in it and try it out 2019 BMW X3 2.0i M Sport in metalic black- Brilliant
2014 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Atlantic Grey, replaced with 2018 Frost White Outlander PHEV, can't fault em - now gone
2012 SDV6 HSE in Orkney Grey, Privacy Glass & Side Steps (notice a theme)! - Even better but now gone
2009 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey, 20" alloys, Privacy Glass & Side Steps - Fantastic! but gone

I have insisted that it remains locked, which they assure me it will be. From what I'm told, it will be in their showroom for about a week. The rest of the time it with either be in their workshop or in an indoor compound.

Just to let you know Ady, I popped into the dealer over the weekend and can confirm it looks a lovely car in the metal........
