his ordered a new discovery sport (freelander 2 replacement) but as with everything MW touches it doesn't got to plan

Where the hell do i start......
Put his new Caravan up for sale, ended up giving it away as it struggled to sell. Sold it back to where he bought it from for a lot less. They readvertised it for a lot more than they gave him for it. That was always going to happen. Nature of the trade.
Then put his RRS up for sale, again struggled to sell it, reduced it several times, still no bites off here. Did the usual, webuyanycar sites etc etc, Came back with insulting quotes, tried a few dealers, they too were pulling his pants down. One last ditch to sell on here by reducing the price further, unfortunately no luck, Let it go to the dealer that offered him the best price, only for webuyanycar to finally come back with £300+ more money.
He decided to place an order for a new Discovery Sport after shopping around for the best price He was given a delivery date of early September Muddy being Muddy, does a bit of homework on the DS site, only to find new owners are having no end of problems with their new Discovery Sports... Not what he wanted to hear.
Last i heard, he still hadn't taken delivery of his new DS, and he had considered cancelling his order on more than one occasion.
I don't think it has helped with quite a few of us jumping ship too.
I'm sure Muddy will be along soon to fill us all in with the next episode of.... The Unbelievable Tales Of Muddywheels...

What'd I miss

Yep still waiting for my DS - Sold the RRS in June and expected delivery 1st week of September but still waiting

Lrcs told me it was arriving at dealer today but now looking like 16th but may as well stick pin in calendar for all the use it will do

Anyway I threw rattle out of pram and I'm getting a demonstrator tomorrow until someone finds where they parked my DS after it left production line on 18th August

Looks like 3 strikes and out now for LR unless the DS is incredible

LR have given me the best buy German PR campaign ever for last 5 years - unbelievable

We've finished splitting the old house in 2 and now have 1 to sell and another to rent so I'm chuffed to bits. Basically been labourer for 3 months but saved me loads of money and lost a stone so worth it

The house we're buying is dragging on and the system is milking me dry for fees and taking forever to sort anything. The seller has also found problem with heating system and been quoted £18k to fix which is scary but I'll sort it if we can complete and move

Being without wheels has been pain so could of done without the hassle and looking forward to driving something other than a Punto or Mini again
