Any news on the delivery of yours Muddy?

I've given up asking - it's been prepared and waiting at dealers but they say LR are being difficult over written explanation for factory delay problems

I'm not prepared to accept delivery unless I'm happy with whatever problems it had and the fixes applied. I'd rather order another and wait for it

It really me off that I've bought so many despite issues and the lack of support/customer care. I think you need to be firm with them Muddy. Tell them you want a full report in writing what has caused the delay by 5.0pm tomorrow, or you are cancelling the motor. It is sounding like they have something to hide. Go right to the top of the ladder to get your voice heard.

Fair enough, you've enough other toys there to keep you occupied.

Let me know when it's on the drive and if you want I can code things such as:

Once touch boot closing from A pillar button in footwell (doesn't close from A pillar from the factory)
Once touch remote boot closing (you have to press and hold from factory)
Digital speedo in black panel display enabled
Infotainment system off when switched off and door open (will not switch off until locked from factory)


The list is endless and there are lots of things you can do, but I found those to be the most useful for me, especially the boot closing options

Oh, and a few other things you'll need....
Silvertec bulbs for the front indicators

Sounds like a plan.
The front fog lights are led from factory now. Not sure if the indicator bulbs are still orange either. But i'm sure i will soon fix that.

And as long as loyal customers keep putting up with crap from them, LR will just keep not giving a ! They don't care because they don't have to.  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Problem is BC if I'm firm they'll collect courtesy DS and I'll have no wheels

I'm trying to give them a chance as long as I have use of their motor I can wait but would be nice to move forward and fit my dashcam before warranty expires

RRSTDV8 I really like LRs and I think they've come a long way since my first FL1 but I have my limits and I will vote with my feet if things continue as they are
