United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Fuji White
RANGE ROVER SPORT 2.7 HSE 2006

Range rover sport 2006 hse 2.7

New battery
new brake peddle switch
new compressor
Then I Bought the AUTEL MD802...

All this because I get fault lights on my dash after driving 25/30 miles....
turns out it is the steering angle sensor lost Communication with steering angle sensor
code is false.....
all this happened because I had 4 wheel tracking done and they never reset the alignment code...
£50 to track the wheels....£30 to reset the steering angle sensor...

Most local wheel and exhaust companies don't have the new technology to reset the steering angle senor, this has to be done when the car has been tracked.
Not doing this will cause fault lights on your cluster/dash.
HDC...DSC lowered suspension, ect...turning the car off and on again will sort the problem until the calculation is done by the ECU, And again comes the fault lights, hence its a good few miles before it figures out the calculation..
That's why it wont come on round town....
MD802 AUTEL will not reset this for you, as this is the unit I have and it states false code no commination with steering angle sensor....It will reset faults but not set up the code side of it..

Interesting post. So, is there a chain of wheel companies that do have the technology? Seems rather false economy to go to the cheaper back street fitter and then have to return to LR for resetting.

If vehicle is a 4x4, Cross-over or Van there will be an additional surcharge of £10 on the above prices.

* Some vehicles may occur further charges due to other required adjustments or any vehicle faults (e.g. seized or worn bolts which would require extra time) - this will be advised before the alignment is carried out.

* If your vehicle includes an Angle Sensor there will be an additional charge of £30 on the above prices as we will need to connect to our diagnostics machine to make sure all settings are correct and inputted directly into your vehicles ECU.

THIS IS BSMART AUTOS IN LEEDS, this is where I will be taking my car for the reset now, as I had my wheels tracked by a normal company / standard garage...
and my MD802 AUTEL is telling me the code is wrong
