The slopes at Cervinia were amazing but pretty much all red. Too much for us as we are not very good to be honest (especially the young ones) So we didn't ski there and just went to see the Matterhorn up close from the other side (been to Zermatt side before). The idea of cross-border skiing is though.

Just realised 2757m is 9045ft so I have taken an RRS slightly higher than Camerlock but on a fully paved road. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Haven't been on the gross for about 10 years still got the indentations in my arm where the Mrs was hanging on she doesn't like big hills The down side was we where in a Skoda hire car. She really make the effort to go back especially since we have friends who live nearby. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Some of my very recent high altitude pictures. Genuinely tough conditions too but the car managed without snow chains. Did put on decent winter tyres though. The all-seasons wouldn’t even have made it to the top of the mountains, let alone bring us back down safely!
