You mentioned snow chains I was wondering how the would go as I have very little clearance between tyre and chassis. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

Correct. Conventional snow chains aren’t suitable. I bought the type that are especially designed for vehicles with limited or zero clearance. LR also sell them (at a huge mark-up), made by companies like Thule (I think model is called Konig) and Spikes Spider so you can buy direct from them or retailers other than LR. For this car I bought an unknown (to me) brand as they are not all metal but polyurethane and can be used on the road as well over a little distance. The idea is that you don’t need to take them off as soon as you are out of deep snow. Didn’t need to use them though. Here’s the link to what I bought: https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel...p;TID=1609 Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top Gone: MY16 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Carpathian Grey & Santorini Black Sliding Pano/Ebony & Ivory 2 Tone Gone: MY13 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey/Ivory Gone: MY09 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black/Almond |

Thanks for the info, thinking of a snow trip in the Australian winter and current chains would not fit. Love the pics by the way, great seeing someone use the car for what it is designed for. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |
