You don't have to call me Sir, even though others around here do Smile Laughing

One assumes you meant SVR?

I guess your best bet would be to find a local exhaust firm that can fabricate something. I'm sure some of the bigger names have offerings, but you'd probably get better results with something bespoke, and probably not as expensive either. Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Try giving Powerspeed in Asford Kent a call. Easy trip down the M2 from London.

http://www.powerspeed.co.uk/

Not had my RRS modified by them but they did a cracking job on my 911 catalytic converter a few weeks back. Sliced it open, removed the old crudded up 400 cell cats, inserted 200 cell cats and TIG welded it back together so beautifully you'd never know it had been touched. Another 11-15 BHP and a nice bark and crackle on the overrun.

Very very much less expensive than some other specialists quoted and all done while I waited and watched with a mug of tea. Don't expect any fancy showroom nonsense or bimbos tottering about on 6 inch heels though!

Powerspeed can make up any sort of exhaust you want or modify yours. They are quite happy to do a group discount if you get a few other RRS owners to join you. I'll probably get them to do a back boxes delete and chrome exhaust tips on the RRS one day but have a few other things to sort out first. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

I have replaced the big muffler under the car with an X-pipe. The car is only marginally louder, however it takes a lot of effort in sport mode to make it crackle and bang like the SVR does. And it only happens on downshifts, since the engine ECU is not pre-programmed to momentarily overfuel on upshifts like in the SVR. Regards etc.,

I'm sure the boys above who'll decate your car will make it fail an MOT unless there just going to remove the guts and leave the cans ? 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Yes, an SC.
IMO to make it more SVR-like you'd have to remove the catalytic converters and all but the rear silencers and overfuel the car a bit (which means: a custom tune should be able to do the job). X-pipe instead of the center muffler frees up more of the V8 "burp". Regards etc.,

ok so the sounds of things we won't be able to replicate a svr lol

but whats the best option to open up that v8 noise? should i change the exhaust box or the centre box? if i replace the centre box with a x pipe would it not use more fuel?

I have replaced the centre section with a X-pipe and I haven't noticed the car to use any more fuel than the obscene amount it does anyway. Regards etc.,
