Hi guys,

Having an issue with my range rover, basically the two key fobs are not working to lock/unlock intermittently. I have been searching for someone with the same issue but can't make sense of it. From what I gather when the battery is low it should show as a warning on the dash, which it isn't. Also the fact that the two are the same I am guessing that it is an issue with the receiver or whatever it communicates with.

Any ideas or help greatly appreciated.

There's three wires in the passenger side that all terminate together and the join corrodes.
Find the wires, and rejoin them.
The wires are green and white and look a little something like this.

thanks for the reply, have it all stripped but having trouble finding where the wires join

The wires could be anywhere along that big bunch of wires, often buried in the middle of the bunch, occasionally tucked away even further up wrapped in the bigger plastic under the metal 'bridge'

ya it's a mess of wires, I will have to leave it until daylight tomorrow as it's raining now. On the plus side the fob is working now whether it's a coincidence or mee pulling at the wires. Thanks for the help!
