United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Sumatra Black
Sat nav TV

Hello, I'm a newbie to the Range Rover and am just looking at upgrading my sat nav screen to have video input or the tv/ dvd function. Would I have to buy a whole new screen or is it just a module to plug in?

Many thanks
Ciaran

Welcome. Thumbs Up

Yes, you can install the TV and DVD, but it is quite involved (and be aware that you won't be able to use it on the move).

For the TV see here - http://www.disco3.co.uk/wiki/Parts_require...TV_install - and here - http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...0Guide.pdf Thumbs Up

For the DVD, you have to retrofit the rear seat entertainment system: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic92518.html Wink

For each you would have to have them enabled using suitable diagnostics. Thumbs Up

A GVIF interface is an alternative option (e.g. http://www.hids4u.co.uk/land-rover-discove...creen.html), which would also allow you to use it on the move - this would be the route I would take.

You're a star! Thank you so much
So with the alternate, I could just plug that into my sat nav and plug DVD players, freeview ect into it?
