England 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Zambezi Silver
Car resetting

Hi everyone.
I have a 2010 RRS that keeps resetting. When I say resetting, I mean I get lots of warning lights, fizzing and crackling and then everything dies - all electrics, steering. I'm left with a little bit of breaking. I leave it for a few seconds, restart and everything is fine. The date on the car then resets to 1/1/2009. I'm also getting random warning lights - 'vehicle lean when cornering' and 'restricted performance'. The vehicles performance is not restricted though.

Garage has checked wires for any dodgy connections but cannot find a thing. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I had a similar issue and it was one of the battery connections not on tight enough. Sounds like you've checked test though.

As above sounds like a bad battery connection. Make sure you check both ends of the battery leads though..also check starter connections and any earthed you can find.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Be sure to check the alternator voltage while you're there too. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
