SVR Options I've Missed?

I have another month or two before locking down my spec, so I'm going to arrange an appointment at the Dealers. I know this is all very subjective and down to personal taste, but is there anything that I've missed that is essential?

Current options spec: 22" Wheels, Privacy Glass, Adaptive Xenons, Carbon Interior, Washer Bottle, Mats and Service Pack.

Things I don't want - Upgrade sound system (would rather listen to the exhaust) and TV (only put it on once in current RRS to see if it worked).

Debating the Deployable Side Steps, although I liked the look of the fixed ones Supermac76 posted the other week. Also debating the HeadUp Display, and do they do the remote heating on SVR??

Anything else? 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

Mats are standard. HUD is great. Signature Meridian is fabulous too, but expensive.

Centre cool box is a NCO.

RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

The MY16 surround cameras are fantastic and once you have had them you will never go without. MY16 (65) RRS, HSE, White, 21" 507s, Pan/Black Roof, 7 Seats, Ebony/Cirrus, Surround Cams, Fully Color Coded

With front and rear sensors why are the camera's so important? Once you get a feel for the car surely the sensors are more than adequate? Interested because I get my first ever RRS(L494) in a week Thumbs Up

Because they help with more than just parking. Trying to get as close to the curb without touching when an ambulance is wanting to get past is one use that I put them to almost daily round here.

I wish there was a steering wheel button to toggle through the different camera views. I only picked the cams as toy option, without real how useful they actually are. MY16 (65) RRS, HSE, White, 21" 507s, Pan/Black Roof, 7 Seats, Ebony/Cirrus, Surround Cams, Fully Color Coded

Think I did add the centre cool box - will double check.
As already said - I'm not paying the extra for the sound system, I'm just not that into music, and I will enjoy the exhaust note too much.
Cantona - I was initially thinking the same as you - but will ask for a demo when I visit the dealer.

Any other views on the HUD, Side steps or Remote Heating? 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

Remote climate is good too.

I have every factory option except privacy glass. Things I use are and would miss are HUD, Meridian Signature HiFi, WiFi, cameras, occasionally TV, auto dimming mirrors, four-zone climate control, BSM and TSR, remote heat.

I don't have as many options as Phil. but I would certainly recommend the cameras. They are useful when threading the car through width restrictions, when parking and so on. Keep in mind the replacement cost of just one rim is about the cost of the cameras and the wheels are difficult if not impossible to refurbish, so the cameras pay for themselves if they save you from just one wheel scuff.

Most of all, avoid InControl Apps, waste of money, not even sure it's still an option. Forget side steps too, unless you are 5 feet or less. It's easy enough to lower the car when passengers are getting in and out. The side steps do not look great, IMHO.

I haven't got the HUD so cant comment on it. Like Phil, I think the Meridian upgrade is great but if you're not in to music it would be a waste.

The drinks chiller is good, well worth having and FOC or at least it was. It's a chiller, not a deep freeze so do expect too much. I liked it in the summer.

WiFi is worth having if you like internet access on the move. It can get a better signal than a phone, probably down to better aerials. Mark

Remote heating you can do with InControl I believe as stock and Wifi is a NCO as well.

HUD I miss on mine.

Remember there are a lot of NCO like the sliding panoramic roof, suede roof linings etc. 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE

Been in to the Dealers today, added HUD with the Traffic signs or whatever it is. Decided against the cameras after having a drive in a demo. Also decided against soft close doors, you really have to close them lightly to take advantage of them actually working. Wifi is standard so that's good. The last one I was deliberating on was the Remote Heater, decided not to bother in the end, heated seats and steering wheel should be ok for me.

Just the 4 month wait now..... 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
