These things can happen from time to time - usually either time, a battery disconnection or hard reset will sort them if needed. I would check your battery (and alternator) voltage though. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I have had this before (3 times) and is a precursor to the battery going flat soon after. My car is currently in the dealers to have a battery drain fault investigated. |

I have a similar problem. The Land Rover symbol stays on the parents when I start the car, No Sat nav or 4x4 info screen available. In fact, the buttons will not do anything. Sometimes it comes on and the Sat nav works, but the 4x4 info never does anything, it's like it's not reading the info. Used to work, now it doesn't! I've had a software upgrade done, tried a hard reset, still not right. My battery is new and the charge is good. My local indie is looking into it, but he's at a loss and is looking for ideas. H should point out that he is a Land Rover trained mechanic, level 4 Master Technician, and has access to all the Land Rover software and diagnostics. Any help much appreciated........ 2008 Supercharged Stornaway Grey, 22inch black Stormers

I will let you know the outcome from the dealer, not holding my breath. Friday 6th Nov, latest this morning, they are going to fit a new alternator, hope to get the car back tomorrow. |

Update on the above, now being told it is the aerial on the roof which is the culprit for my battery drain and will be sorted by Monday. Stand by for update. OK, got my car back tuesday and it was a fault in the aerial amplifier circuit that was causing the 2 amp drain, now been fixed and no battery drain apparent now. |

I quite often suffer from no audio,, radio, dab or cd, even when it appears to be connected to a station, then after a few minutes it returns, sometimes it takes a restart,, pain in the arse at times but wish I knew what the cause was!! 2010 RRS, TDV8
