Hi,

I have a 2013 RRS Supercharged (left hand drive as in Dubai) with SatNav. Despite upgrading the satnav maps, google maps work much better on my phone. Note, I have no issues with the inbuilt navigation system and no aftermarket items installed anywhere.

The issue i have is if i place the phone in the air vent to the right of the steering wheel which is much easier to view when driving, the GPS refuses to gain a satellite signal. However if i move it to the right side of the navigation screen (30cm) it works perfectly, which means there must be some kind of interference from that area of the dashboard. I have tried three of four phones and they all do the same.
