Is it a wrap or is it a repainted car? Over finch do bespoke conversions so it could be a repaint. IMHO a used Overfinch, Kahn, Revere or any of the other "conversions" or "modifications" are actually worth less than a standard car as they are "personalised" to the taste of the original purchaser. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Very nice the suede headlining is a overfinch upgrade, I think it gives it a nice look. |

It has been painted not wrapped, I had never seen an RRS in this colour and it just stood out.

Just one more question................. If it really is Vesuvius Orange then that was a Scintachrome colour, most insurers will not cover it as in the event of damage the entire car has to be resprayed not just the damaged panel. The way to tell if it is one of these paints is to walk around it and it should seem to change colour, the original Vesuvius changed from a muddy brown shade to a vibrant orange, the car on the site banner sort of shows it, the front panel being a different shade to the rear as the sun shines. In the original LR publicity photos they never showed the car looking yukky brown it always looked vibrant orange! Nissan and TVR used these paints for many of their cars, if you were feeling very flash with the cash then LR used to charge an additional £10k to have the old Autobiography paint treatment (yes sir you can have any colour you like but we do have this pallete of 30 additional special colours!) which was done by SVO (the folks that now build the SVR) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Frax - I think you have made the right choice. Both vesuvius orange and, to a slightly lesser extent, Overfinch are definitely marmite options that may significantly reduce their saleability and hence their resale value. If you are concerned about resale then I wouldn't touch either with a bargepole. |

It was very hard to tell if it changed colour as the day I went to see it it was raining, I know that was a bad start in the first place. Not that flash with cash so wont be going for a wrap or respray, I will just stick with Black which is alway nice when it clean, sady I stay up a farm road so clean does not happen a lot at this time or year, I do wash it but by the time I get to the main road its dirty again.

For the record, I totally agree, you should keep what you have.

You are right, if my car had a light hanging out it would be fixed the same day or as soon as I could get parts.
