Thanks for the reply, as for cheaper to run I just mean by fuel as I don't use my car that often but at the moment my amg gets around 170/180 miles to £100/110. Maintenance wise I'm expecting it to be that same or similar to the amg. Realistically, mpg wise, what do people get from the 4.4?

The 4.4 V8 petrol is very very rare, and the reason was it had similar fuel consumption to the supercharged but not the go! It's a BMW V8. The 4.2S/C was much more common so you may want to include that in your search as there are many more of them around. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

ooops! Sorry about that. Must have been the early FFRR L322's that had the BMW engine then 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Ah, I will bare that in mind when looking at them though, main focus is getting my Mercedes serviced and sorted ready to sell then I'll be starting to look into it all a bit more. Would prefer a s/c one but was looking at a n/a due to fuel. Sounds stupid not to get a s/c one now |
