Rear wiper not working

My rear wiper has suddenly stopped working on my MY2007 TDV8 HSE.

Washer works, but no wipe action. Nothing happens when I flick the column stalk to activate the wiper and nothing happens when I select reverse when front wipers are working.

Fuse appears intact but couldn't find my multimeter to check it out, but will do a swap test this evening.

Any ideas or suggestions of what to check before I take it back to the dealer

If it's not electrical, the wiper motor might be gunged up.

I had a similar prob on my previous FL2. Rear wiper wouldn't move so removed it and dismantled to find it full of gunk. After removing said gunk and cleaning with paraffin and relube with grease all worked fine. I could hear the wiper motor trying to activate when switched on btw. 2016 L494 SDV6 HSE Dynamic Carpathian Grey

Did you manage to find the fix for this issue as mine has just got the exact same problem. Motor is fine, as I've dismantled and checked it out and run it on an Independant power source.

My rear wiper motor has gone (...i think). I've ordered a new one. Has anyone ever replaced this who can advise on how to swap step by step? Cheers
