In what way does the 4x4 info say you have one? Have you actually seen the sign lock? Question

Easiest way is to glance underneath and see if there's a motor and electrical gubbins there. Wink

Pretty rare to get a RRS with a rear locker except for the HST models. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Did they actually lock though? Both signs are shown whether the E diff is fitted or not. Thumbs Up

Both diffs show a green padlock and only turn orange when they lock. The chances are that you don't have the locking rear diff; it was only ever an option except on the G4 and real HSTs which had it as standard I believe. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

As an aside the eDiff it is now standard fit to all RRS2s with Dynamic Pack, you don't get it though if you have an HSe and tick the On Road, Off Road Pack option. I was suprised how much work mine did this weekend driving private rough tracks in the Glen Lyon area of Perthshire, it works well too even on wet grass and with 22" wheels on the car! Green means the diff locks are open, they then get varying lock up shown by 33% sectors on the screen until 100% locked when the icon goes fully orange. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I find it slightly odd that an off-road specified RRS2 doesn't get the eDiff but a fast-road RRS2 does. Presumably the rationale is to improve the sporty nature of the vehicle by acting like a limited slip diff on corner exit.

Having said that, the old RRS is pretty good off road with an open rear diff so long as the tyres are suitable for the conditions. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
