I still have the remote climate option in the app. It doesn't start the car (at least in the UK spec), just kicks off the fuel fired heater and heats up the cabin just like the remote key fob operation. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

That option is missing on my app too. I don't have the option to sound the horn and flash the lights I have seen other talking about. |

Does anyone else find that InControl Remote app takes a very long time to update car's locked/unlocked and alarm set/not set status or is it just me? Fuel, range, odometer and location are loaded very quickly but the locking status etc. is very slow. Also, trying to lock/unlock or using beep and flash takes ages and most of the time fails. The fuel fired heater is normally only an option on diesel models. It also used to be fitted to all diesels regardless of whether the owner specified the remote climate option. Now, however, it isn't standard fit and cars without it can take a very long time to warm up on cold days.

I stand to be corrected here but in certain markets the Cold Climate Pack is standard and includes the remote heat option, maybe Land Rover thinks that all of North America has Florida type weather all winter............. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Remote/Timed Heater and Climate doesn't appear to be an option in NA. It is available on petrol cars - I have it on my SVR. |

Guys do you ever get a message on the smartphone to say that the car is slow to respond when you have this problem? I sometimes get this if a) the car doesn't have a clear phone horizon (parked in a garage/ carpark or under trees or near high buildings) b) when it is parked out on my drive with no obstructions and the phone signal has reduced from 3g to GPRS. InControl doesn't like borderline phone signals either at the car or the phone, it seems to require a very good 3g/4g signal to work well in my experience. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
