What is this "socket"?

My RRS is parked in a hotel car park and across the driveway from me is a nice Mk1 Rimini Red RRS S/C that has an extra "exhaust" below the rear bumper near to the cover for the tow hook and electrics and I wondered what it is. If the car is converted to run on autogas then it is pretty inconvenient location for the filler nozzle............... Does anyone know what it might be as when I walked passed it doesn't look like an additional trailer lighting socket.
The photo is a bit weird as I'm on an iPad and didn't want to include the registration of the S/C

That was my thinking too but not the greatest place for keeping your hands clean when it comes to refueling. Most of the LPG converted cars that I have seen have a flush fitted screw on plastic cap somewhere on the car's side. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Definitely a LPG filler. You can clearly see the LPG tank replacing the spare wheel. Lousy job. Regards etc.,
