I would recommend you install your resistors inside the car, retaining the integrity of the external wiring to minimise the chance of water ingress. Also, bear in mind, the resistors will heat up, so, wherever you put them, keep them clear from anything they could melt/burn.

You need to connect the resistor to the indicator feed, and to ground. I'm not familiar with the wiring of the RRS clusters (as opposed to D3), but IIRC, the relevant internal wires are green/white (right) and green/red (left).

So is it not safe to glue the resistor just into the back of the light??
Seen this done on videos on you tube and said its fine aslong has use proper ohms resistor which they
Recommended at 15 ohms
Thanks

I wouldn't want to. I'm sure many do, and over time, some may regret it, but others will get away with it. As I say, it's much better to leave the external wiring intact anyway and keep modifications inside in the dry when possible. Water and salt can spread through wiring like you wouldn't believe - all the way to the ECUs. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Thanks for that tip! So I need wire the resistor into the existing wiring on car lights loom and fit resistors onto bodywork inside
Back of light cluster at bottom? Ive seen pics of this on the forum so I'll go this route for safety aswell
Thanks

The 15ohm resister will get very hot during use. Much better to use a 50 ohms resister. Bodsys Brake Bible

On my last sport I fitted (glued) 50 ohms resistors with heatsink, from RS Components Thumbs Up In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
