I went through this malarky with my first 2 L494s. The problem is that it only alarms when you're using the satnav to route you somewhere AND have the guidance turned on, which infuriates me.

I'd be interested in this too. But can someone please post step by step instructions on how we download the data and install the camera locations to the sat nav? Thanks |

its really easy to add them to the system - simply open the nav, click more, then click POI’s, then add POI’s (insert the USB), select the files and upload!

So do we just subscribe and download them from pocketgpsworld By paying them £20? Or is there a different website you recommend? |

I used that site but did not bother to renew because the nav system just "sees" them as points of interest and you have to decide to turn warnings on and get alerts for every camera you pass even if it is not on your side of the road.

Do you need the latest versions of Land Rovers to use the Sygic app and the LR incontrol apps 3.0 HSE RRS Stornaway (current)

No, Sygic is a 3rd party app, but you need InControl (MY15+ L494) to allow the phone to display on the car's centre screen. |
