Engine System Fault and Black Smoke

Started to get "Engine System Fault" on the dash and also getting excess black smoke on acceleration and noticing that there is definetley a delay in acceleration. Any ideas? I'm wondering if it's a split pipe or something. 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE- Cairns Blue with 22" Stormers

Most likely a split hose, the one right at the front of the engine bay, left hand side as you look at it Thumbs Up

Found it! Now I can see this end, where is the other and how hard is it to get to? Anyone know the part number?

Is the bottom of the hose accessed through the plastic cover in the right hand wheel arch? 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE- Cairns Blue with 22" Stormers

Yes. Thumbs Up

You have to pull the inner section of the rivets out to have any hope of getting them out intact. Rolling Eyes

Cheers Guys, I did this job a couple of weeks ago, nice and easy to swap the pipe for new one. The old pipe was quite ganged up which I wasn't expecting! 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE- Cairns Blue with 22" Stormers
