Am on the phone with williams manchester right now.. the guy is being well suspicios.. yes the deposit is £500.. but when asked how many people are on the list 3 times.. he said.. "not many".... yeah HOW MANY u tw*t..

suddenly went away to his boss, and then came back and said.. yes the launch will be jan/feb (whereby he was saying no way to that before) and that no formal list yet..
now he's gone to get the list.. WHAT A STRANGE CONVERSATION.. i think he thought i may be the press or something!!

Now he's back.. yes the car is no. 6 and i've got my name scribbled on it! and yes delivery is expected for Jan/Feb.. so PaulL im with u!
Also confirmed twice that yes.. if for any reason i want to cancel.. im free to do so..

£500 being put down on thursday, as im having a little cooling off period, but he has scribbled my name down on the list already.. Also Paul he said, no more deposit.. final payment when car arrives in Jan/Feb.. no additional spec securing deposit.. thats interesting.

Anyway, so im now (well nearly) on list for a TDV8.. so that means im now a potential owner again, so now im not a gatecrasher to this site.. twin turbo diesel, with more torque then an SC.. YES PLEASE..

0-60 won't be quicker, but things like 50-70 times might be quite interesting, in the real world it could be quicker, but I guess it won't have THAT sound............ Bow down

I understand it's not all that diesel-sounding..... I'm sure it won't be the death knell for the SC, but I reckon it will be a worthy competitor.

Ok guys, the engine power figures are out for the TDV8

272BHP and 640NM or 472ft/pounds of torque!!

Thats 90NM or 67ft/pounds more than the SC!!

To put it in context its a 45% increase in both BHP and torque over the TDV6. It also is 75% quieter than the TD6 in the FFRR. 2013 RRS SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White
