TDV8 on order

Hey guys

Keeping my options open, I have decided to join the list for the TDV8 at my dealer in Manchester. I am 6th on their list.

I will keep you all updated as I hear about spec and prices etc.

Will no doubt see some of you next week at the motorshow.

Cheers

In Manchester, to join the list, its just £500 fully refundable until the spec and prices are out. 2013 RRS SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

hmm.. whens the indicated delivery for the RRS TDV8 guys?
if i keep my RS4 for 9 months or so, might beable to squeeze the TDV8 in between the RS4 and the M3.. would be good.. i have a feeling we won't be seeing the M3 till about late 2007-early 08...

Indicated prices still around the £52k mark PaulL or was it a blind deposit?
As my M3 order is to be fair..

Hey Kam

They reckon around Jan/Feb. If things stay as they are we should get list for the RS4 then. ie before the M3 knocks prices.

Just wanted to have the option really. I think £52k will be around the mark. Althought I'll want dynamic response and the 20" this time, so if thats not included, it may be a bit more.

I think i could push to a couple myself at that entry point..
hopefully RS4 will still be worth close to list.. saw my first RS4 cab yesterday.. think the plate was R R54 CAB..too expensive in my opinion (not at all jealous.. think of all that skuttleshake!)

Reckon the wait will be massive for the TDV8..? may well pick up a demo car again and run it until the M3 arrives.. that would be quite good actually.. RS4 - TDV8 - M3 within 12 months..

The little problems will hopefully have been ironed out by then also, so the TDV8 will be perfect (or as close as LR can get to perfect).. everyones raving on about the RR TDv8, so can only imagine the RRS will be an absolute stormer.. close to the SC performance. Think the HST will die a quick death when the TDV8 comes out, and everyone wants one of those instead.

What skuttleshake Rolling Eyes I ran the S4 cab = no problems at all - in fact it was the development of the S4cab that led to Audi changing the suspension set up on all the A4 range to that of the S4cab - because it was so good

The only reason to buy an RS4 cab is to be able to listen to the sound it makes 24/7 Wink
