Aware that it's pretty easy to steal a RRS by sniffing the key to open the truck then plugging in to the OBD port and using it to program a new key, I've designed a lock for the port!

IIRC, it's not as easy as you think... It's the keyless vehicles which are more of a concern, not the earlier keyed ones. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I still fear that, should such devices become commonplace, thieves will only too easily start to use an alternative location to program keys rather than the OBD port.

Looks like a solution looking for a problem - as mentioned I didn't really think that theft of earlier models is such an issue as it is for current models - come up with something for it and you would be on a winner. 07MY RRS TDV6

Based on the responses here and on a few other high end car forums, I don't think this is going to be a goer! They were a mixture of people not thinking it's a problem or not caring even if it is - which makes it a hard sell!
