Thanks SRE - been training hard and have just come back from a 50k ride this afternoon. Thats half what we need to be doing next Sunday so Im feeling reasonably confident its doable - there are two pit-stops along the way so as long as I can get from one to the other Im working on the assumption I'll be ok

A HUGE thank you for all the support you have given me and my daughter for our bike ride this weekend. I can't believe how generous you've been and i really don't think we would have made it anywhere near our £1000 total with you guys

Bikes were serviced yesterday, we're stocked up on high energy gloop for the ride and it's our last training day tomorrow. Looks like the weather in France will be about 16c so that's perfect.

I've lost a shed load of weight in training over the last few weeks so I might just have to post a couple of shots of me in my lycra after all………but you'll be relieved to hear my daughter says the jury is still out on that one
