In the mid 80s, I had a 325i with lots of nice toys on it. I was in the process of moving into a new house with the 1st Mrs BKHK and was made to sell the car to finance some renovations, she wanted a new kitchen. I regretted it and never liked the kitchen. Wife didn't last long either

Well after 5 Years of trials, tribulations and some awesome times too by the end of the week I will no longer be a RRS owner

Decided to take the money and run

Going to be a Punto driver (Son's lost his car for a while ) while I find a nice FL2 or Jeremy fixes me up with an even nicer Disco Sport

Hopefully I will still find time to drop in and annoy Ady and BC

Won't a new Disco Sport cost you almost as much as you got for your RRS Muddy? I don't really see how you have saved any money?

I have a similar dilemma, Mrs wants the X6 gone to pay off the final very small mortgage. I don't want to sell it because it's fun to drive. In fact I am looking to upgrade to a new M3, but I have just said "it's a 3 Series so it's not too expensive", I am working on selling it as a downgrade......

I bought my first RRS to pull a twin axle and this RRS too but then we stored the van on site and now it's sold so the RRS is overkill. Added to this I have a balloon payment due end of month for finance, road tax and 2nd service on top of everything else I'm juggling just to hold onto a 2 year old motor that's depreciated like a brick in water

The plan is to get the mortgage approved while I have the funds back in bank then get the DS afterwards when nobody cares as long as I pay every month

Haven't even driven it but just sitting in it blew me away - got back in my RRS and it was such a come down

Never bought a car untested before or paid full price but I think I'm going to do it
