2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Fuji White

CAM BELT ADVICE PLEASE

Hi peoples ! I have a 2006 2.7 HSE and heard the cam belt needs changing at 107000 miles ? Mine has just clocked up 100000 and I am thinking of booking it in to be replaced. The guy who looks after my baby mentioned a possible oil pump issue and suggested I have this done at the same time. Can anyone advise if this is correct and also any "ball park" figures that may be involved at all ? Thanking you in anticipation ! Regards Lezzo

You need to get it done ASAP as it should be 105K or 7 years, whichever is sooner.

He's right about the oil pump, you should definitely have this done too. Take a read: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic57636.html

Though most common on 07/08MY vehicles, this could happen to any TDV6. A new oil pump is always welcome anyway.

I'll leave others to suggest a price but, IIRC, Flack and Disco Mikey have it down to just a few hours. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Any more than £400 for belts, and your paying too much. Allow an extra £200 to do the oil pump at the same time
