United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black
faulty air compressor range rover sport

Hi everyone looking for some advise please. I have a 2006 RRS 4.2 supercharged. Have a fault diagnosed by Land Rover which says Air compressor faulty requires new compressor. Also states possible fault with Ace system.
Firstly can the air suspension compressor be repaired rather than replaced ? any suggestions of repairers I live in Manchester. also any suggestions about Ace system. Thanks for your help.

Might just be the end plate leaking. Someone on here sells a better replacement.....search forum Thumbs Up

If it is the whole unit Censored then Britpart do a replacement one cheaper than LR. Paddocks spares probably sell them or John Craddocks or LR Direct or Island4x4 etc etc

You can (or could) buy a refurb kit for the compressor too. About £80 from memory. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi thanks for your reply and advise.

Assuming I can resolve the compressor fault what do I do about their comment saying faults also stored for Ace System may have further issues !!
From what I have read the Ace system could be very expensive £1000 + to repair.

Look forward to a reply.

You need to know what the faults are before you can decide what to do with the ARB. If it's holding a fault code in the system then I doubt it's the bars themselves that are the problem. If a bar is leaking, it depends which bit is leaking as to how involved (and expensive) the fix is. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
