Hi guys! i need to change my front upper arm, i've got the arm and new bolts, i've had a look at the car and one of the bolts looks like its behind the strut mount, just wondered if its a pain to get out or fairly easy? dont want to start taking the car apart and find that i need to go in through the engine bay or something silly... thanks in advance. Easier to take the arch liner out, but can do it with it in or out. Bit fiddly getting the bolts back in the hole, but nothing particularly difficult about it

It's an old thread, but I'm just about to tackle this job as well so...
Disco_Mikey, what kind of socket/wrench did you use to hold the bolt behind the strut? And did you have trouble taking out the 10mm bolt that holds the bracket for the brake line to the arm?
