Rear Brakes

Just had another service completed and have been advised the rear brakes are at 4mm. Does anyone know at what point the sensor will put the warning light on ? Or should I just bite the bullet and have these done now ? I only do 7K a year.
Funnily the front tyres are also worn ?

Thanks,
Steve

I believe (but stand to.be corrected) That the light comes on at 2mm. However, there are only 2 sensors to monitor 8 brake pads.

If in doubt, have them replaced, to avoid damaging the discs, and costing even more

Mikey, Thank you for your as always accurate response. I will probably replace the discs as well as they do seem a bit corroded as the vehicle does sit for long periods. Due back in June so will drop you a PM.
