Suspenion Problem after rebuilding compressor

well I had the usual suspension issue, yellow light "only normal height available"

so I rebuilt the compressor and air dryer with a kit for x8r and put it back in brought it for a quick drive, put it up and down and no issues.

Left it a couple of hours and started it up again and got a yellow light with "suspension fault" and drove it for a couple of minutes and it turned red and put up "max speed 30mph"

I'm not sure what to do now, as I rebuilt it watching a how to video guide so was fairly confident everything was done correctly but now I don't know.

Has anyone had this issue before?

i had the same problem ,i found that were the pipes went into my rebuilt compressor they were slightly leaking,i ended up cutting about 5mm off the pipe and refitting it and all was fine, apparently the reason these compressors wear out is due to leaks ,did you find the leak and sort it before refitting compressor Thumbs Up silverRRS 2.7 TDV6 22"WHEELS FULL COLOUR CODE,STEPS,REMAP..gone

brilliant I'll try that in the morning, I never spotted any leaks beforehand.

Would the best way to find a leak be to jump the relay and get the pump to run constant?

doesn't seem to be any leaks and now after jumping the relay, it is coming up with the suspension fault message as soon as you turn the ignition, any more ideas?

couldn't find a leak but ended up cutting the pipes anyways as I had ran out of options and it's fixed it, thanks very much really appreciate the advice mate! Thumbs Up

great stuff, glad its fixed, the leak on mine was very small,i went around all my pipes with gas leak test spray and found the original leak which caused my compressor failure..was a small union on top of rear airbag liking slightly making comp run for to long and burn out Rolling Eyes silverRRS 2.7 TDV6 22"WHEELS FULL COLOUR CODE,STEPS,REMAP..gone
