Yes I too have come from an Evvoque in the last 3 weeks and find the same annoying "feature" on the RRS2, my previous RRS's both applied the EPB automatically too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Maybe it's a setting that could be changed in the car configuration. Interesting anyway. Bodsys Brake Bible

We park on an incline on the drive so it gives you a bit of a shock when it suddenly lurches forward and you find yourself suddenly jamming the foot brake on in a panic.

Putting the SVR in park is one thing I haven't got used to yet. I'm used to the usual PRND selector. None of this pressing buttons 'n' stuff. |

Yes, it's slightly counter-intuitive to push the lever forwards to go back and pull it back to go forwards....

just coming back on this. Yes, it dosent put the handbrake automatically, but it selects the park block "P" from the gear automatically. I prefere this, as I dont use the handbrake (99%,only in the mountains), as the parked car has in "P" 5cm movement, what safed me often regarding parking damages on the bumpers. |
